Top Spring Polishes!

Essie Spring Polishes
* First off, sorry it's been awhile, I broke a finger and that isn't so fun to type with!*
I am in love with these three colors! As always with essie polishes, these are highly pigmented and long lasting. My top for my toes is "cute as a button", and it really is awesome! Pictured on the left, this color is a mix between an electric pink and a coral orange. It's not too loud and not too soft, just right for when you decide its warm enough to show your toesies for the first time as it begins to warm up!
The second color ( pictures in the middle) is called "mint candy apple". It's a beautiful robin egg blue color with a light hint of pastel green. All you need is one coat and you have complete coverage, yet another plus with essie. Nothing is worse than choosing a light color and realizing with the first brush that you need 10+ coats to reach the color it is advertised to be! This is a new favorite for my fingers as it not only is a beautiful spring color, but it makes my skin look a bit tanner, who doesn't want that?!
My third and favorite color is called "tart deco", this color just rocks! Even if you aren't a coral person, or an orangey peachy person...TRY IT. I was hesistatnt at first, but decided to give it a whirl, and I couldn't be happier. The color is not too bright and can be worn year round , it's a perfect modest color that works with any look. I finally took this off after a month of wearing it so that I could try out "mint candy apple" and now they will rotate until I'm sick of them both hahaha!
Another polish I like to use with essie is Sally Hansen's Double Duty, base and top coat. As I've previously blogged, this stuff keeps color lasting for days without chipping. I wont polish without this stuff!
What are your favorite Spring colors?!

Ardell #105 False Lash Review

So, the picture gives it away... I totally love these lashes! They are all the same length and are a bit stiffer than Ardell lashes with varying lash lengths. I like this feature because they seem a little more sturdy when cleaning and while wearing. The stiffness helps set them as you can push them on a bit more while applying, without feeling like you are bending them in all different directions. Als, notice that every two "lashes" is held together by one point... I'll show you :
This technique makes the lashes look all natural when glues on. It allows for your actual lashes to fill the gaps and, as these aren't pre-curled you have all of the volume power!
These lashes are also easily cleaned with makeup remover ( I use coconut oil), and duo lash glue keeps them adhered beautifully all day! I give these a 10!

New Shampoo & Perfume Review!

You may notice these bottle designs from way back in the day, before the new neon Herbal Essence bottle arrived. These older bottles were most famous for the commercials with ladies having what I like to call "hairgasms" in the shower! The formula doesn't seem different, it still is thick and luxurious - suds galore, and a little goes a long way! The smell is amazing and the conditioner has helped with fly aways since I haven't done my coconut oil mask in a week! I will be purchasing again, and awaiting other scents! Picked these up at Safeway for $3.99 each, but they were the only ones available. Hopefully in the next few weeks the others will arrive!
This perfume smells amazing!! I've just about finished up my bottle of Jennifer Aniston's perfume (which I really liked) but decided I needed something that smelled warmer. Flowerbomb was my go-to for about 3 years, but when I went to try it out again, it still smelled of college drama and stress! I decided that Flowerbomb was never going to be an option again, so the hunt for the perfect smell began! - The day before going to NYC I walked by a table of this stuff at ULTA, I really liked it, but the price was high and I was saving for vacation! While in the city I decided it was finally perfume seeking time, and made Kevin accompany me to a Sephora a few blocks from our hotel. There we decided on CANDY. It is sweet and warm with notes of caramel, musk, vanilla and benjoin (whatever that is)! The style of perfume is described as carefree, sophisticated and sensual. As I was being rung up the man at the counter said that he really loved that perfume and that he had heard great things from other customers. After wearing for a few days I can say that this perfume is sexy and fun and holds for a long time! I think I've finally found the one :)
Thanks Kev!
