First rule of using Kryolan is to use a stiff brush. I used the stiffest foundation brush I could find, Kryolan is literally like paint, so you don't want to use a brush with any volume or fluff to it because it will just gunk up. I used a foundation brush because I didn't have anything as stiff in any other size, but if you do... GO FOR IT!
To prevent pulling ( and keep wrinkles away) I suggest using contact/saline solution to dampen the product. Then mix the solution and product together in the products container. I literally just put two drops of saline solution right in the middle of my white color and mixed it up in the pallet with my stiff brush to keep things clean and simple.
This stuff doesn't play around kids... once its on and dry it is NOT moving!! That being said make sure you dab it on the general area you would like it. For the look I chose to go with I only needed the color on the inside corners of the lid to about halfway across. I did this so that I could start with heavy dark color at the outer edge and blend it back into the middle creating a light to dark look.
Colors I used include: Kryolan Aquacolor in White. Darling by Sugarpill (Blue), Tiara by Sugarpill (Dark silver), and Lumi by Sugarpill ( highlight- white-ish color).
I can't say enough about these two brands. Kryolan & Sugarpill are brands I will continue to buy and experiment with !! More to come !!
